Friends!

Ok, I am one excited girl right now!  One of my very best friends, Laurie, is taking me somewhere today for my birthday present!  The thing is, it's a surprise.  I have no idea where we are going.  She has been planning this since November!  I can't wait.  This reminds me again, of how very thankful I am for friends in my life.  I can't imagine what I would do without them.  Laurie, in particular, has been an amazing friend.  I can't tell you how many times she has brought us dinner, kept my children, arranged for meals for weeks on end during childbirth, surgeries, cancer treatments, etc. More importantly, she is such an encourager and great mother and wife to look up to.  Our friendship is one reason why Philippians 1:3 is one of my favorite verses.  I thank my God everytime I remember you. Philippians 1:2 NIV
